The Express 5040 baler by Nogueira was designed for the increased demand from customers accross the world – for high intensity work, such as collecting maize rests and for collection of tropical pastures – and therefore the PTO transmission system was redeveloped to be stronger and more robust. The main reducer drive has been over spec’d with larger pinions to enable it to handle the load of 100 strokes per minute of the compression piston with ease, which in turns ensures you a solid compaction throughout your bale,. the PTO drive has dual protection – with both a clutch, and a shear bolt installed on the drive. The baler has a working width of 1.58m (5') and the collector is controlled hydraulically, and the transmission is also converted by means of a crown & pinion gearbox. The collector is suppoerted by a solid rubber wheel, which is also mounted onto a shock abosorber, to absorb the shocks into the machine as it travels over uneven terrain. As optional – the baler can also be fitted with a manual bale lift to allow bales to be delivered directly to a trailer, whilst the baler is in operatoin.
